About Contini Art Gallery

Stefano Contini, born Tuscan (in Pistoia, in 1950) and adopted as Venetian, is the owner of the art galleries that bear his name.

After finishing technical studies in 1969, he immediately devoted himself to the world of art, at first in the sector of specialized publications and subsequently in gallery activity.

Until 1979 he was responsible for Rizzoli Editore and the Rizzoli-Finarte in Veneto. That year he opened his first gallery in Mestre. Today, Contini has three art galleries (Mestre, Venezia, Cortina d' Ampezzo), which are points of reference for the international art market of the most prestigious names intereted in Modern and Contemporary painting and sculpture. Stefano Contini participates at the most important fairs in Italy and abroad and he is an active organizer of important exhibitions.
