European and British Decorative Art: 18th Century

The 18th century was largely dominated by the Rococo and Neoclassical movements. Rococo artists created light, delicate works, often incorporating curved lines and intricately carved shapes. Unlike Rococo design, Neoclassical were characterized by horizontal lines and ideal proportions.
