Timeline

As one of Cuba’s top artists, Raidel is allowed by special permit from the Cuban government to travel out of the country to promote his work through authorized galleries and was recently in Canada showing his works at Artista Fine Art Gallery in Kleinburg.
A versatile artist, he puts both realism, and expressionism in his paintings. His abstracts are what he loves to paint the most, and his use of colour and stroke exercise the mind and pleases the eye with brilliant use of colour and composition
His artistic talent was identified at a young age and after his primary school in Cidra Cuba, he attended the Alfonso Perez Art School in Mantanzas Cuba for three years. He then attended the I.S.P Art School in La Habana Cuba for three years and the Roberto Diago Professional Art School in Mantanzas Cuba for a further 3 years.
Raidel Cabrera Medina was born in Cidra Cuba.
He has had a number of personal and collective art shows in Canada, Brazil, French Polynesia, Luxembourg, Spain, as well as numerous shows in Cuba.
