Rossi & Rossi is delighted to launch Contemporary Tibetan Art: Works from an Italian Private Collection. The thirty-one artworks on view in this online exhibition have been selected from a notable private collection that began in the mid-2000s, when contemporary Tibetan art was beginning to make its mark internationally. The works in the present exhibition reflect the invaluable support of an anonymous patron to a field of art once unknown outside of the region and now fascinating collectors around the world. It not only tells the story of a collector’s support of contemporary Tibetan art in its infancy, but also illuminates Rossi & Rossi’s commitment to fostering and promoting the genre.
