Ron Hall began his career in 1971 as a private art dealer and four years later opened his first gallery in downtown Ft. Worth. In 1985, the gallery relocated to the Crescent Court in Dallas, Texas as the anchor for Caroline Hunt’s new art and antique destination location. His 50year art dealing career has taken him many times around the world buying and selling impressionist, modern, and contemporary masters’ art. During the 80’s, 90’s and turn of the21st century, he owned galleries in Ft. Worth, Dallas, Santa Fe, Taos, and New York City. Ron Hall Gallery has also exhibited at top art fairs around the world in Europe, Asia, and Latin America and was one of the founders of Art Miami in 1991.
After over 50 years in the art business and having sold hundreds of works by masters such as Monet, Renoir, Picasso, Warhol, Frida Kahlo, De Kooning, Frankenthaler, Lichtenstein, Alexander Calder, and Julio Larraz, Ron continues in his endless passion, acquiring established masters as well as emerging contemporary artists.
In addition to his art legacy, Ron is also known for his critically acclaimed #1 New York Times bestselling book, Same Kind of Different As Me, which became a major motion picture release by Paramount Studios in 2017. Through sharing his story, Ron has helped raise more than one hundred million dollars for homeless communities across the country and continues his philanthropy through his non-profit, Same Kind Foundation.
