Description
Executed circa 1927.
Important preparatory drawing for one of the 4 monumental frescoes “Combat I” dating from 1927. The 4 frescoes were intended for the Japanese Pavilion of the City of Paris. The project was never realized.
This work is registered in the Archives Artistiques of Sylvie Buisson, Paris and will be included in the forthcoming vol. IV of the Catalogue Raisonné.
